The police in BC are destroying a man. Someone with Autism- Aspergers is slowly being driven over the edge. They are going around telling people he is psychotic and dangerous. Breaking into his house and stealing his things, putting him in jail without being able to charge him and then letting him out after a day or two. And doing this repeatedly over 7 months. They slander him, tell him his religion is wrong and satanic (Its legal and Wiccan.) They take him to the hospital and put him in the psych ward to which he is put in solitary and they give him drugs to calm him of which he is allergic to and they won't listen to him. He tells them he is allergic to oranges and they put oranges on his plate of food at meal time - regularly. No respect. Once a MD sees him and not a Psychiatrist the MD realizes he is Autistic and not psychotic so he lets Rob free. This happens almost every other week.
His neighbors harass him and the cops do not believe him. They steal his cat get it neutered and tattooed.
The police steal his wallet from his house and keep it for a week or so and then are seen putting it back in his mailbox in a plastic bag.
Rob has so far committed no crime. He has done nothing but complained to a crisis hotline because his neighbors kept banging on his walls and windows. So the crisis hotline girl calls the cops and sends them to Robs house and they arrest Rob, break his things, and steal his ceremonial dagger and they won't give it back.
They did not read him his rights or give him a phone call. They just kept him overnight and then took him to the psych ward who kept him the weekend and sedated him with drugs he was allergic to.
Over 7 months they have taken a man who needs help, and driven him to be what they say he is. And they diagnosed him without observing him. The Coquitlam Police RCMP and Surrey Memorial Hospital Psychiatric division are very uneducated when it comes to Autism and Aspergers. And the Psychiatrist that the Surrey Police used to assess Rob Ree diagnosed him before she saw him! She should have her licence revoked!
Const Quee Surrey RCMP wont give him back his dagger as she thinks he is psychotic. She can't see past Aspergers disease. Nor can she see past Wicca as an earth based nature religion.
Long ago someone decided to take a gun and shoot his girlfriend. He decided to talk Rob (who is very gullible with his level of Autism) to come along. Rob had no friends or family to give him a sounding board. In school he was kicked in the nuts daily and beat up and chased daily. His life was a mess and Rob desperately clung to anyone who would show him any kind of friendship - good or bad.
So on the way to said girlfriends house Rob being the pacifist that he is uses his cell phone to call out to a friends house as he didn't think this is a good idea hurting someone (bear in mind that he did have about 2 people that were sort of friends at the time outside of this person with the gun) and say what was going on. This other man called the police and Rob and this nut with the gun go to jail. Rob is sentenced to a longer jail time (even though he didn't even touch the gun, nor was it his idea to shoot the girl he was just an accomplice of a sort), and Rob was sentenced to a longer probation time than the would be shooter. What? Why? Because Rob is Autistic and the Police, Prosecutors and Judge think Rob is not normal- he believes in Wicca so he must be delusional, he played Dungeons and Dragons so he must not be in touch with reality (he only played it twice and was going to give back the books) and because of Aspergers Rob has no social skills or proper body language so they think he must be psychotic. Yes he has "magical thinking" so he must be a threat to society. No actually it's the gunman who is, but hey I am not the "professionals here." Just a man with common sense.
They get Rob to confess to the crime, Rob is rocking back and forth on the ground crying and babbling and shaking incoherently saying yes to what they are asking. If anybody saw the tape of the confession they would not have convicted Rob of anything! But arresting officer Constable Elliott Swift decided it was in their best interest of a conviction that they conveniently loose the tape so they cant admit it in court.
Anyhow, The gunman is let loose a year before Rob is and he gets back with the girl he is going to Kill with the gun. While Rob is still stuck in jail for the crimes of not handling the gun, and for stopping the shooting! The gunman is off probation before Rob and Rob is still paying for the gunman's crimes! Well, Rob is now free of this, but is now being bothered by the RCMP for being Autistic again.
The moral of the story- The BC Police and the BC Psychiatric doctors are not very trustworthy when it comes to Autism, esp Aspergers syndrom. Be careful!
And all of this if verifiable- He has a roommate, a father and a grandmother who are involved, and many neighbors who have seen and herd what is going on.
